1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

Here's a 1971 Ghia that needs some TLC and a little body restoration.
Vehicle runs and has 81,736 original miles.
I purchase it in 1984 from the original owner who bought it new in 1971. So, I've had this car for 34 years with no significant issues.
The original color was a factory green (not 2-tone). 20 years ago, I had it stripped down to the metal and painted Irish Green (an original Ghia color from a 1971 Karmann Ghia paint chart). The roof is Ivory from the same paint chart.
I live in Vermont and have only driven the car in the summer. It's been covered every winter, but the car is showing its age and some rust, so it needs to be restored.
This Ghia needs to be driven and could probably use a new clutch and engine overhaul, since it's so easy to work on.
I have a good set of original bumpers that go with the car.
It hasn't been driven for the past several seasons and it should be transported on a flatbed.
I would not trust the car's reliability on a long road trip.
I hate to sell it, but I don't have the time to care for this little gem any longer.
