We are not claiming this is the Original Mileage but it's not hard to believe considering it's Condition. This 79 Bug is a Turn Key, Ready 2 Go, Show Car or Driver. It's been well maintained and preserved as you can see from the pictures.This Beetle was sold new by Jim Ellis Volkswagen in Chamblee Georgia. It was purchased by the Original Owner in November of 1978, we have the Original Warranty Card with the Original Owner's Name & Address on it. It is believed that this car spent it's entire life in Georgia.In the last few years the car has had New Brakes, New Tires, New Paint, New Upholstery, New Lights, New Weather Stripping, New Seals, Front & Rear Bumper Re-Chromed, Full Tune Up,Etc.. It Runs and Drives Great, Starts right up, No Issues, No aggravation. The Motor is Strong, Doesn't smoke, and Doesn't appear to leak. The Transmission is Tight yet Smooth when Shifting and there is No Grinding. Everything works except for the Factory Air and Radio.The Body is Very Nice and Straight, No Rust, and all Body Lines match. The Convertible Top fits well and Don't appear to Leak. Both the Paint and Clear Coat are Nice, No Fading, No Peeling, No Major Runs or Blemishes. The Windows, Bumpers, Wheels, Emblems and Chrome are all intact and are in Good Condition.The Interior is also Very Nice. The Carpet is Clean with No Heavy Soiling. Dash and Door Panels are all intact with No Cracking or Holes. Seats are in Good Condition with No Rips, Tears, Holes, or Cracking. Basically the entire Interior is in Good Condition. It's a 1600CC Dual Port Fuel Injected Engine with a 4 Speed Manual Transmission.All in all this is a Very Nice and Reliable example of a 79 Super Beetle and it would make a Great addition to a Collection or Perfect Starter Beetle for someone interested in getting into VW's.
