1971 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

1971 VW Bus. Very clean West Coast Bus that is ready to roll. This is the desirable Bay Window year, being first year for disc brakes and last year for the upright motor.
The original 1600 motor was rebuilt with less than 12,000 miles since. She drives great down the road, stops on a dime, shifts smoothly through all gears including reverse. No grinding or funny noises in the transmission or motor. All electrical works as it should including all lights, wipers and horn.
Interior is really nice and includes new curtains all the way around, new carpet over the rubber mat and seat belts for all passengers. I just put 4 brand new tires on her with less than 100 miles on them.
This 1971 VW Bus gets a ton of attention and plenty of thumbs up by onlookers. It is such a great experience to drive and I will be sad to let her go but time to thin out some of my car collection. This Bus is titled, registered and insured in my name.
As with all 47 year old vehicles, there are always little things to improve upon and tinker with but that's the fun in owning them.My reserve is set well below value and this is a good one!
