Description:

1966 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Westfalia

1966 VW Westfalia pop-top campmobile offered at No Reserve!.

Had to re-list due to my negligence listing the incorrect year in the title.

This is a 1966 VW Westfalia, not a 1967 as was stated in prior auction.

My apologies for canceling the last auction and to those that were bidding!

NO RESERVE!!

  • 12v 1600 single port motor starts right up.
  • New front brakes, rear brakes, wheel cylinders.
  • New front and rear brake hoses.
  • New rear main seal.
  • Oil change and valve adjustment done w/new Bosch plugs.
  • New Brosol carburetor, new fuel pump and oil pressure switch.
  • New fuel tank and screen, new generator belt.
  • Front seat frames are both excellent.
  • Haven't been able to decide on front seat colors, so they're not done.
  • Clear coated over all original paint for preservation.
  • Missing fridge and rear jump seat not original.
  • Rear bed may need some work to open/close more easily.
  • Some rust, a few dings and small dents.
  • Front floor rusted out, replacement panels in place, not welded in yet.
  • Drive it and/or restore it while you drive it.
  • Doors/windows open and close nicely, including hatch and side doors
  • Wipers not working.
  • Clear Vermont registration signed and ready for transfer.

Putting my 1968 single cab on the road instead of this good ol' 1966 Westfalia,

so it'll need a new home. The truck is just more practical for me these days.

Rather see it go to a good home than sit in my carport.

About me: I own a local VW shop in our 30th year and I'm looking to downsize

and only keep 2-3 VW's on the road. You want anoriginal VW that runs & drives good,

won't lose any value, and has lots of possibilities, this 1966 is one of them.

PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE/BID IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE BUYING

OR HAVE UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS! THIS IS NOT A 2017 VW, it's 52-years old.

My 100% feedback shows honesty in buying and selling many different items from

t-shirts to automobiles, so please ask questions if in doubt. Thank you!

This 52-year old VW is being sold as is with no warranty implied.

Located in Sarasota Florida. Auction can end early with a good cash offer.
