1965 VW Bug Daily Driver

1965 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Sedan

Since March of 2017 I have $10,483.18 invested into this car. The 1200cc blew and I had it replaced with a 1600cc DP. After the engine was replaced I had all of the mechanical repairs completed by the best shop in Arizona, Competition Engineering.
The car has 5 brand new tires. I had the high back seats changed to 1965 low backs. I had the front end rebuilt and had lower spindles added. The brakes were redone front and rear. I had the roof rack added. The deck lid has the extensions to increase air flow. The fuel tanks sending unit and gasket was replaced. The hood latch fixed. Exhaust gaskets replaced. Almost everything mechanical has been done to this car.
The flaws are the body, the rubbers are dry, the paint is horrible. If you want to wax a paint job this isn't the car for you! There's minor surface rust. The pan is in good shape, the battery box did rust and was fixed with some type of metal. The car currently needs the valve cover gasket replaced, it drips oil.
This is a daily driver and it's been my primary vehicle to the airport. Any questions just ask!
