1974 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Convertible

1974 Karmann Ghia Convertible, unfinished project. Body was taken down to metal, rockers are in great shape. Believe a 1/2 pan was put in on 1 side. Its very close to being ready for paint with a little more bodywork, no surprises on the body with it stripped to metal you see exactly what you are getting into. The convertible top mechanism/bows, head/tail lights and all the other small pieces are boxed up and come with the car. Car is an autostick but not hard to convert since the clutch cable tube is in the tunnel, autostick tranny (not shown) comes with the car as does the flex plate. No engine comes with the car but I have what I believe may be the original numbers matching case if interested.
Finish the bodywork, paint it, and leave the top mechanism off to make it a speedster or go all out and put a new top/padding/headliner in it for a convertible. Clear title and registered in my name (title will arrive in a couple weeks), will deliver within a 25 mile radius for free.
Ask any questions prior to bidding, car is sold as is, $1250 deposit due within 48 hrs of auction end via paypal or cash in person, balance due within 2 weeks of auction close and car must be picked up within 1 month of auction end.
