1966 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Meyers Manx

I am listing this super fun 1966 Meyers Manx for a friend of ours that does restoration work on our cars here in South Florida. He did this restoration / build himself. He had the body for around 20 years before acquiring a chassis and assembling the car. This Manx really is a blast to drive! Please refer to the build sheet in the photos for adetailed list of chassis/suspension/ and engine work done to this Manx. The engine, Chassis, and body are all freshly rebuilt. The engine in particular in this car is a perfect example of how good these air cooled VW 4 cyl. can be! It will start in one crankevery time. Throttle response is instant with plenty oftorque. The transmission shifts very positive thanks to a fresh clutch, throw out bearing, pressure plate, and hurst shifter. The body is painted in a very unique burnt orange with a very heavy metallic flake that shines all kinds of colors in the sun.
These cars are great because of how simple they are and how easily you can change the character and add your own style to it.
Bruce Meyers thecreator of thisvehicle has since passed away, so the value of these cars has been increasing. Jay Leno has even done an episode of Jay Leno's garage on these cars that's worth checking out!
Please contact me for further info on the vehicle, or for the contact of the Owner Kenny Cannato who can tell you the complete history of the vehicle.
Enjoy!
