1976 Triumph TR-6

1976 Triumph TR6 in very good original condition with comprehensive log book, maintenance and repair records for the entire 12 year period of present ownership.

This TR6 is in great condition mechanically and is ready for a new owner who wants to drive it. Very solid car, well maintained, but needs just a little bit cosmetic work if you’re looking for a show car. Looks good on the road but not a concours paint job. It is very clean in all regards. Car spent most of it's life in Virginia before being acquired in 2007 by it's current owner who has driven it less than 3,000 miles. There is no rust (see undercarriage pictures), paint is in condition appropriate for it's age and the interior is in very good condition short of needing a cover on the drivers seat. Soft top is in good condition with clear windows.

Engine is sound and strong with no smoking or unusual noises. Cylinder head was rebuilt within last 2,000 miles. Has that magnificent TR6 bellow when running up through the gears. Clutch has been replaced and the car shifts smoothly through the gearbox. Steering is preciseand the ride benefits from the replacement of steering and suspension components within the last 2,000 miles. . Copies of all work done on this car since acquisition by the seller is documented and included with the car, together with log book for it's usage.

- new Redline tires

- repair of steering column, suspension and sway bushings and shocks

- replacedtransmission output seal

- replaced ball joints

- new clutch

- rebuilt carburetors

- new battery

- cylinder head rebuilt, including new rocker shaft and rockers

- replaced oil pressure sending unit

- replaced fuel hoses

- replaced drive U joints

- replaced hood cable

- replaced fuel pump

- new high torque gear reduction starter

- new top frame, door panels and floor mats
