Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this nice Triumph TR4A IRS for easy improvement, with the desirable independent rear suspension setup. This car was just purchased from the state of Colorado where it has been in storage for the past 25 years, last being registered in February of 1995. This well-preserved car is believed to have only 50,880 miles as shown. It's in a very original condition and would benefit from cosmetics and light mechanical work.The body on this car is quite exceptional with great fitting doors and good trunk and hood fit. The car appears to be 100% completely rustfree with zero signs of accident. It's one of the best, bone dry, and nicest preserved original bodies we've seen on these cars in quite a while. The main floors look great with only some surface rust on the driver's side. Front and rear valances are exceptional, always a good sign the car has lived a good low mileage life. The grille is excellent.The car's underside is the same. It's very straight and solid and would respond well to a good steam clean. The engine bay is clean and original. The car's original and correctly sequenced engine turns nicely by hand and could run with little work, showing decent oil level up to the mark. With some brakes and fuel system cleaning, this car could be up and running in no time.The car's interior is shot, but totally original. We've saved the original factory carpet set that fell to pieces while we carefully cleaned the car. It's even fitted with it's original Triumph radio. The original Triplex windshield is in great shape and really does show 50k miles of road use.Overall, a really, really good TR4A in need of cosmetics and a general recommissioning.
