Description:

1974 Triumph TR-6 Convertible

Absolutely stunning full restoration of a 1974 Triumph TR6. This car is new, new, new! Professionally stripped to a bare shell and refinished in deep Black over Tan leatherette with matching tan convertible top. Nothing was left unturned, as we built the ultimate TR6. The idea was simple, build a TR6 that could compete with a Porsche 911 in performance but still retain drivability, reliability, and remain stock in appearance We achieved just that! This car will run right next to a same year 911S in the straights or curves!
The engine was professionally rebuilt by a Terrys Jaguar's race team with 30 over pistons, tube headers, upgraded GM style alternator with custom LUCAS engraved mounts, performance cam, monza exhaust, rebuild carbs, upgraded ignition, finned aluminum valve cover, and remote oil filter. The radiator and mounts are also new. New brakes, water bottles, washer and wiper systems. The 4 speed overdrive transmission was also rebuilt at this time. The suspension was lowered 1.5 inches with a moss kit and the shocks converted to tube. New bushings and sway bars installed. 5 new coker redline classic tires on power coated rims and new trim rings. The interior was completely replaced with new as was the top. A retro sound stereo with extra speakers was installed along with an input for your ipod and cigar lighter for 12V accessories. New wood dash and shift knob. All new weather stripping, tri-star lucas headlamps, all new light lenses and seals installed. The grill was restored and polished as was the wiper arms for a sexy vintage look. The chrome is all new, a talbo side mirror was installed and the bumpers have been back dated to 72's to remove the ugly rubber overriders. All emblems and decals have been replaced and extreme attention to detail was given! I even took the effort to track down, and painfully recreate and emissions decal from the originals that are no longer available! The car comes with both boot cover and full tonneau covers, jack and spare. The restoration booklet with all records, receipts, and photo documentation is several inches thick and included. It is a fantastic car that needs nothing. This car has been a labor of love building it over the past few years, and the cost is more than the asking price. I am letting her go at a fantastic deal to fund other projects. Thank you and Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I can help arrange shipping if needed. Kevin 314 578 4795
