This car was recently purchased here in Southern California. The car still retains it's correctly sequenced engine that runs well. The car was in process of being restored and could use some finishing touches.The body and paint work on this car is of amateur average quality but would serve perfectly fine as a fun driver. Panel fit is variable. At least new floors and rockers were fitted at some time before or during the restoration. The car still needs a few items purchased and fitted such as a front bumper assembly, license plate light, 3 rear interior cappings, soft top frame and weather equipment, wiper motor, and wiring harness.The simple interior needs a little finishing work. The seats are in very good condition and have been retrimmed at some point in nice, matching red leather. The carpets are new but need a final install. The dashboard has been nicely painted to match the interior color. Switchgear and gauges look good.The car starts nicely on the button, runs well with excellent oil pressure and no smoke. The gearbox is very healthy with nice positive shifts through all the gear. The car pulls a little to the left while driving then upon braking pulls a little to the right, but I'm sure it can be sorted out easily. The engine could use a minor tune up, but seems very strong.Overall, a decently attractive driver with some easy needs. These affordable 50's sports car are full of character and offer great fun for a modest price.Please look at all pictures and call or email with any questions.
