Description
This is the ultimate Diesel Land Cruiser! It has very low miles, o rust, nd rated in our top 5 best cruisers of all. If you have been waiting for the best diesel you can buy, his is it. We took a BJ40 and swapped out the engine for the powerhouse 2H Diesel 6cyl 3500cc installed along with the 5 speed transmission. This engine runs forever and has enough torque to pull just about anything, going just about anywhere. The larger engine still gets a good 22mpg and runs faster than the B engine normally found in the BJ40s. This cruiser has AC and heat installed. Front Disk brakes installed.

For collectors this one will only go up in value. Diesel 40s were made from 1974- 1984 according to Wikipedia.Not only that, ut 1984s are very rare to find. This is one of the last years that the 40 series was produced. Estimate production put them at about 50 BJ40s produced. But we have found several 1985 BJ40s.
We have kept the original paint color white code 033 with accents of the original gun metal gray.The roof rack, inch, nd snorkel really make this cruiser stand out. Winch works perfectly. It has original locking hubs. The Toyota dealership did a complete inspection and found few things to replace.
We have completely restored this cruiser with many new parts.
