I've decided it's time to part ways with my MR2 addiction. I purchased the car last November from a dealer who took the car in from the original owner. From the car fax and original paint, the car was not driven much over the last 15 years and properly stored in the winter months. This car has survived rust free in Ohio. That is not a small feat and a testament to its previous owner. Since I've owned it, I replaced the original muffler with an OEM style, purchased aftermarket wheels, bluetooth radio upgrade, aftermarket amp & subwoofer in one small enclosure(not the kind you wake the neighbors), replaced the shifter knob, spark plugs and wires and replaced the shifter boot.
It runs and drives flawlessly. I've only driven the car 3500 miles since I've owned it and changed the air filter and oil twice in that time. There are no known mechanical issues. Battery was put in when I purchased. The car idles like new, ttops do not leak. The original ttop storage bags, front bra, original working radio, original shifter knob, and original speakers are still in my possession and included. The only original item I've parted ways with were the original wheels found in one of the photos. I regret selling those. I have imaged the one negative spot on the body in a photo...the spot is on the driver side mirror. And before I forget to mention it...the passenger side power window will not go down. This happened as I was storing her for the winter. I purchased the new gear for it and have an appointment to get it professionally installed December 5th. (Weather permitting). I am negotiable but not much. I'm sure I'm missing something. Please ask any and all questions.
