Description:

1972 Toyota Land Cruiser

NO RESERVE AUCTION. Solid, original California Toyota FJ40 with some rust and dents in rear sill and corners with some filler evident in passenger rear corner. Aside from that spot all paint looks original, so nothing to hide. Good running original motor and transmission, 4WD with upgraded power brakes from later model Toyota truck. Seats are excellent, glass is excellent with the exception of one small BB hole in corner of windshield. Radiator re-cored, new water pump and thermostat as well as recent tune-up. Mild shackle lift and tires have very good tread. Fiberglass roof has racks attached and needs some paint and minor repair from where they are screwed in. Front fenders have some dents/damage. No jump seats. Floors are solid. Runs, drives, stops good. Frame, undercarriage etc. is excellent with no heavy scale rust or damage. Steering is good but a bit loose as are most original FJ40's and could use tie-rod ends. Truck has been sitting for a few years and driven on our ranch, so I'd recommend trailering any distance until new owner can do a thorough safety check before freeway driving. Very good truck to drive as is or restore. If you have 0 or negative feedback DO NOT bid before contacting me. Please ask all questions before bidding. Pick up is easy of off 101 Freeway on the Central Coast of California. I bought this FJ40 to restore with my son but he's decided on a truck instead. Truck has a clean title and is on non-op with no fees due. I've tried to take detailed pictures of the damaged areas so there are no surprises.
