1988 Suzuki Samurai JA

Runs great, drives straight. Very stock and original 1988 Suzuki Samurai JA. Don't know history on this vehicle. I've owned for a year and put a couple thousand miles on it with no problems whatsoever. Was my daily driver. As my commute lengthened this Sammy changed to my weekend driver. Driven from Arizona to CA in one shot, no problem. Body straight, no critical rust. Some surface rust under carpet but very minor. No oil leaks from engine. Small oil leak from rear differential after driving. Previous owner and I speculate that many miles are from towing behind RV and not engine miles due to all-original parts under hood. Older tires but good tread remaining. Back seat present, but needs reupholstery. Front seats from ~2000 Mazda Miata on Samurai sliding tracks. Bikini top and full soft top in good condition with no tears, etc. Carpet kit in good condition. I want to be clear, this is a 30 year old, highly stock vehicle so it does have wear and tear. Radio works intermittently, heater seems to be disconnected, window weatherstripping and various plastic trim parts showing their age. This would be a great resto project or fine left as-is. Only work I have put into it is new catalytic converter (to pass CA smog), installed Miata seats, carpet kit (used but very good condition) and oil change.
I am in no rush whatsoever to sell. I will wait for the right buyer to come along. I love driving this car down to the beach and watching people check it out. These Samurai's are head turners, especially ones in such good and original condition. I continue to drive this on the weekends so the mileage will go up, but slowly because I don't drive it much. That's why I'm selling- I can't quite justify a fun car right now.
