Of all the Studebakers, the ‘50 Champion has got to be one of the most unique and famous cars of its time. The grill and roofline are unlike any other car in American history. Its truly a car every museum and sizeable collection should represent.

This Champion is mostly original and seems to be unrestored. It does have one older repaint that was professionally done and has held up well. Finished in its correct Grove Green with all original trim and chrome plating that all looks very authentic and correct for 1950. The glass is also original and in great condition. The wheels are the original steel wheels with chrome dog dish caps and newer whitewall radial tires.

The interior is trimmed in all the correct material with portions of it original to the car. The seats, door panels, carpet and headliner are all clean and show no wear. The dash is very impressive in its original paint and brightwork with no pitting or corrosion. Even the steering wheels is like new with no splits or cracks.

Under the hood is also very original and correct. Some detailing has been done over the years, but it is almost untouched. There has also been no lack of maintenance performed throughout its life. This car runs great!

If you are looking for a low mileage, correct and mostly original Studebaker Starlight Champion then this could be the car. It difficult to find these cars in this condition.
