Description:

1965 Replica/Kit Makes 1965 shelby Cobra factory five Cobra

There are lots of Cobra kits out there to choose from, ver fifty Cobra-kit manufactures to be exact, nd thousands of choices you can make for your final product. In building one of these kits, ecision is by far one of the hardest things to overcome. What products to choose, hich color to paint, hat engine to use so on and so forth. With any of the replicas out there, t’s important to build one that not only is constructed from great parts, ut also that the sums of its parts add up to quality. Through time I have discovered that it’s easier to buy something finished, specially when it comes to one of these kits for many reasons. With time you will know if the kit was build right, arts comes loose if they were not properly installed, he body changes shape from the heat beaming down on it, he paint becomes fuzzy from poor prep, ou hear noises coming from everywhere and this are only a few of the many reason why it makes sense to buy a kit that has already been put through all of this. This replica kit has been road worthy for 5 years with the dependability that it will last an eternity.

What you are bidding on is a Factory Five Cobra titled and registered in Florida as a 1965. Factory Five is one of the few manufactures that actually knows what they are doing and one of the only manufactures that builds their kits from the ground up, tarting from their chassis. Factory Five perfected the art of the Cobra; they have been in business for over 20 years. They not only specialize in 427 Cobra’s, hey have a whole line up of replica kits (Roadster, TM, aytona, 18, otrod 33 and many more). This simply confirms that this is a company knows what they are doing and will continue for many years to come.

About the car.
The interior: A lot of attention went into the interior. Inside, t's all business with a twist of modernism. Clean instrument panel wrapped on tan leatherwith double stitched border for an elegant and sporty look.Instrument panel is clean and the reverse speedo setup gives you the feel that you are cruising in the era it was created.Carefully stitched diamond patterns suede in the tunnel walls, ateral trim foot panels and back wall give this Cobra uniqueness. When you open the door you will see nothing but class, rom the tan door panels to the aluminum door sills that provide a stylish look and elegant appearance. The seats are very comfortable tan leather. The T45 transmission is manhandled by the traditional aluminum shifter knob which was meant to keep the traditional look. The wooden steering wheel gives this cockpit a true sense of style. When you sit down in this bad boy adjust the seat using the hidden lever to activate the seat track toget you to a comfortable reach.
The engine: The engine was recently maintained by a professionally, ll fluids were checked and changed. So what engine does it have you ask? A ford 4.6 modular EFI and ready for someone to put the pedal to the metal. The good thing about an EFI engine is the reliability and the confidence that the car will start right up after sitting in your garage for a winter. This cobra is loud enough for you to be noticed but yet subtle enoughfor people who just want to cruise while holding a conversation without interruption of the sound of the exhausts. For those of you who are wondering, his beast of an engine is typically seen in a 1996 ford Mustang.
Exterior: On this Classic Roadsters replica the fiberglass is beautifully laid with immaculate prep that allows admiring the gloss jet black paint. Fit and finish are excellent, nd all the details are correct. From the sexy curves of the fenders to the classic look of the polished stainless steel overrides and hoops chrome roll bar with the reduced weld seems and the LeMans-style filler cap. I wanted a look that could tie in the daily driving aspect of it but at the same time have the poise of a track car on the streets. If you notice, here are many upgrades and added features but balanced just right, llowing anyone to admire the curves and sexy appeal this Cobra has. Looking at this Cobra from the front is almost scary, rom the tripod vintage headlights to the perfectly spaced security screws onthe scoop which trulyallows you toappreciate the work and quality of materials used to put thisCobra together.
Shoes & Suspension: I suppose I could have gone with regular mustang wheels, ut did Cinderella wear wood slipper to the bowl? That's why we decided to give this bad boy nothing but the best. An aggressive stand that can only be obtained by 17x8 Hali-brand wheels wrapped on 245x45x17on the front and17x11 wrapped with 315x35x17on the rear.Looking at this Cobra form the rear it’s almost scary, he tires are massively thick. This Cobra is elegantly sustained ona 4 link suspension with fully adjustable front and rear coil-overs.It’s the only way to ensure this Cobra handles properly with the grip these tires will provide. Clross drill rotors where used on all four corners as well, roviding yet another reason to step and go, nowing that you can come to stop with ease; specially with the power brakes.

I truly don't know why the vehicle got listed so early when it was scheduled for a week from now. Never the less, he car is available and ready to go to its new home and the show will go on and the ball is rolling. So let the bidding war begging.

I am the owner of this car, t was professionally built by a known builder in the cobra community. It took me almost 2 years to complete.
there is absolutely nothing wrong with the car and the reason that it did not sell last go round was because the winning bidder was not able to secure his finances.

With this said, want to make sure that I lay out the rules of the game to avoid any misunderstanding.
If you bid on this vehicle, would expect to due-diligence before you get trigger happy bidding engaging on a bidding war with other members.

With this I mean the following:

  • Secure your finances before bidding, eeeery important.
  • deposit is due 48 hrs after auction is over. Failure to do so will result in bad review to your account
  • Ask permission from the boss "AKA" the "wife" before bidding ;-)

  • Ifyou need to inspect the car, y all means, o so. You can test drive it on my driveway, ou can kiss her, alk to her, aress her, ell her a joke.. etc etc
  • If youcant physically make it to see the car, ou should pay an independent appraiser to inspect the car for you. You can search online, here are hundreds at many price points starting in the low $100s. Do your research and make sure you hire a reputable company.
  • This is not a "bid to win" then I do all of the items above. With this I mean, on't commit if you can come through, ts not polite.
