Your are bidding on a very rare 1969 Shelby GT500 Fastback. This car is part of the private Shelby collection of Bob Kayser who recently passed away. We are helping sell the collection. This car is the very rare Pastel Grey color and if you look at the original order form they gave Special race orange as the first color choice but when it wasn't available the 2nd checked option was Pastel Grey which is a very rare color. He told me this was his favorite car as it has never been restored with mostly original paint and interior and showing 58,000 miles onthe odometer. The bottom is very nice and I'm pretty sure engine has never been out of the car. This is a very well optioned car with:-Factory Air conditioning-Tinted Glass-Heavy Duty C6 Transmission-Dealer installed louversThis has been sitting for awhile as Bob got older he hasn't driven it much. We had it shipped to Norwest Automotive for total cleanup and maintenance. This included new gas, hoses, heater core, carb redo timing set, plugs rotor wires etc with a comprehensive tune up. brakes flushed and bled and serviced. radiator flushed etc etc. The car also has new exhaust that is not shown in the pics. Virtually all the collector car dealers still are strong on all 60s Shelby American cars as a good solid investment . They are rare, beautiful and have racing and muscle car heritage. As for rarity look at it this way they made more corvettes in 1963 than they made in all years Shelby Cobra and Mustang. They only made 1000 GT500 Fastbacks.
