Up for auction is a rare 1991 Saab 900 Turbo SE/942M Monte Carlo convertible, automatic transmission, VIN: YS3AL76LXM7021661; 122,974 miles. This car is an icon within an icon, and only about 300 of the Monte Carol variant were manufactured in 1991 in this attention-grabbing yellow over the black SPG molding "bumble bee" color combination.It began its life as a new car sale in 1991 in Hampstead NY and I purchased this Monte Carlo in Florida in 2013. I have taken particularly good care of this car - major services/repairs by Saab or European car specialists; always stored indoors during winter, and driven occasionally as a fun car in summer. With the exception of some minor cosmetic defects and an ABS light remaining on, the car, both interior and exterior, is in very good condition with little or no rust.
