*. * Up for grab is a rare1987 Renault GTA convertible 2.0 (made by AMC also known as a beefed up Alliance) If you're looking at this you probably know all about it.
I purchased this car over 6 years ago and I slowly restored it on my spare time. I have invested a great deal and money into it and sadly I have to let it go. I do not have the place to store it and hate to keep it outside.
Vehicle does run and drive well. Engine runs good and transmission shifts fine. Steering is excellent and suspension is mostly new. Brakes will probably need some attention since the car has been sitting for the last 5 months. Electrical all work with no known problems. All lights, witches, an, eat work great. Interior in stock and excellent shape all around minus the small seam separation in driver seat. 3 out of 4 power windows work but will need lubrication. Left rear window does not work.
I have replaced a lot of parts since I bought it. Here's a list of what I remember: Shock absorbers (all 4) rear wheel bearings, ower ball joints, ie rod ends, rake master cylinder, icense plate lights, nterior carpet, park plugs, ires, ap and rotor. Tires are less than a year old with less than 1000 miles on.Body is in excellent shape, traight, ent free and very minimal rust. Convertible top works fine and was replaced 3 years ago. All glass is nice. Bumpers will need some work due to cracking paint. Most pictures were taken right before the car was parked and covered (about 5months ago) Car might need to be washed and cleaned. I really do not have the time and ability to do anything to it any more.
Car is currently registered and tabbed. Selling as is no warranty. I can help with shipping and I can guesstimate about $1.00 per mile pretty much anywhere. Please do not bid if you can not pay.
