Description:

1973 Porsche 914

This 914 2.0 has been called "the nicest 914 in the southwest" by Ed Mayo, 14 expert, hop owner, oncours judge and PCA Panorama technical editor. It has been in the DFW area for many years and owned by three PCA members, ncluding me.

In 1990 a balanced/blueprinted competition 2.0 was built for it by Ed Mayo at his DFW shop, ayo Performance (original engine build sheets will come with the car). An oil cooler was added in the front boot along with an autocross suspension including front sway bar, ew springs and adjustable Koni shocks. It has the original fuel injection.

About 2000, he body was completely restored by the premier body shop of the day in DFW, an Butz/GTI. The finish is excellent (and to keep it that way I’ve had the entire frontal area wrapped with invisibra).
In the early 2000s I began seeing this 914 at PCA events. It was the most perfect, ust-free 914 I’d ever seen and I kept track of it until the owner was ready to sell. I bought it in 2009 and over the next couple of years went end to end to ensure excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. I wanted a car that was 100% reliable, rove great and that looked completely stock.

Speedo reads 55K and record indicate that it has turned over so that puts 155K on the chassis. Also based on records with the car that puts approximately 20K miles on the engine. Owners manual and all of the records will come with the car.
