Description:

1970 Porsche 911 #1414 signal-orange project, NO RESERVE!!!

This is a #1414 signal-orange 1970 911T coupe, project selling at NO RESERVE! The car was discovered in Florida after sitting since 2000 when the owner wanted to do a restoration but stalled at the time. It has not run since then. It presumably has its original engine & gearbox. All glass have never been out of the car and still wearing its original, dried up rubber seals. The windshield is still the original glass, "made in West Germany, Sigla." There are rust areas on the floor and front pan needs to be replaced. I detected bondo areas on the lower front fenders. The rear decklid also has rust by the license plates lights. The paint is a 10 footer but for what it is, the paint looks decent however if the next owner is going to fully restore it, may as well give a quality paint job. The original interior is mostly all there minus the carpet. The previous owner took the old carpet out right before he was planning to disassemble the car. Unfortunately I cannot turn the engine by hand. The car was stolen back in the 80s and recovered a few years later. The car had the original vin taken out and was reassigned with a new motor vehicle administration-issued vin when it was recovered again. The new vin is stamped in the car and is titled under this vin. All in all, this is a fantastic car to restore given it's one of the most desired colors offered and that the car is mostly all there, ready for the next chapter of this cars life. I have a free and clear title. I have more pictures I can send to interested parties. Feel free to ask any questions you have. Again, this is a NO RESERVE auction, so the highest bidder wins!
