A very limited number of these M491 cars were produced and the Targa models are by far the rarest in numbers in comparison to the coupes and cabriolets. Only 58 Turbo-Look Targas hit the market in 1986! This particular Porsche has spent its entire life in the warm climate of Georgia... under the care of two separate owners. The first owner purchased the car new at a local Porsche dealership and sold it in 1995 to another local gentleman. At that time the car had 97875 miles on the odometer. The new buyer put additional miles on the car and regularly kept up with all the maintenance. There are two pages of service stamps from an authorized Porsche Dealer dating from 1987 - 1991. The car at that point had 76921 miles on the odometer. There are few large repair orders when the car was under the care of the 2nd owner.
