1987 Porsche 928 S4 - SILVER/BURGUNDY - AUTOMATIC - NEW WATER PUMP - TIMING BELT AND TIRES - RARE LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL
I was looking for an S4 and really wanted a 5-speed but they are hard to find. I found this car and love this color combination and the owner had just installed a new water pump and timing belt which is very important to do on these cars - I have receipt and work was done in April 2017. He also just had the AC recharged so the air blows cold. So, I purchased the car; sent payment and arranged for a transport.
I then came across a 1989 S4 5-speed; I knew I would never find another in my price range so I pulled the trigger and purchased the car. I now have two 929's and while I would love to keep them both it doesn't make sense at this point.
This 928 has not been in an accident (see CARFAX) and appears to be wearing the original paint as I cannot find any paint over spray. The interior is in nice condition; the passenger seat does have a seam that is split, the dash and pod have a cover that is a little warped.The carpet is good and back seat is in nice condition. The odometer stopped working at 133,998 and the owner said he feels he drove about 2,000 miles while he owned thus the 137,000 reported when work performed and listed on CARFAX. The car is not perfect nor is it priced as a perfect car.
Comes with original owners manual.
Tires are Bridgestone g-Force Sport that were installed less than 1,000 miles ago.Sunroof opens and closes with no issue so do the power windows, it has a new JVC Stereo with AUX. I have the Florida title from previous owner and I am selling for what I have into it; I am not making any money on this.
