1972 Porsche 911 Targa needs a complete restoration.
We have a clear Pennsylvania Title
The odometer shows 56,944 miles. The title is marked miles exempt.
VIN 9112511426 This is a European car which had a 911T carburator engine.
Engine in the car is # 6105921 which is a 1970 911T. The engine is seized and will need a full rebuild. It has Zenith 40 TIN carbs that will need rebuilt. The COA says original engine was 6523037
Transaxle is a Type 911-01 number # 7104238 COA says original trans was 7221271
The body is rusty. See photos. It will need floors replaced. The front trunk floor in front of the gas tank will need replaced.There is rust in the floor behind the smugglers box. There is rust in the cowl at the base of the windshield. There is rust in the rear body around the bottom of the targa glass. See photos. It will need extensive work. Steel Turbo flairs were added to the rear quarters, the rear body panel was updated and a late style bumper was installed. The Targa top does not latch and has pieces missing.
