I want to start off by asking you to please call forhonest answers BEFORE you bid. Or better yet, ome by and look at the vehicle or have someone inspect it for you. I do the best I can describing my vehicles and I include very good pictures that can be expanded. I do this to try and avoid any misunderstandings. It is impossible to list every little item on a vehicle that may or may not beimportant to a buyer. Thanks.
This is a super cool and very rare 1953 Pontiac Chieftain 2 door hard top coupe. This car has went through a complete frame off restoration and upgraded to more modern running gear to make it a very comfortable car to drive anywhere you want. I have a very thick file for all of the work that has been done to this car. The restoration started around 2004 and took a couple of years to complete. This car is in truly better condition than when it came out of the factory.
Body: Original Arizona rust free body. Stripped to bare metal and repainted in base coat clear coatAtlantic Blue Pearl Code # PBJ ( a 2005 Dodge Ram color). Absolutely beautiful color combo. I have over $7,000.00 in receipts just for having all of the chrome re-chromed. All of the stainless trim has been highly polished. The car is pictured with the originalnon-lighted fronthoodornament, ut I have since replaced it with a newly chrome lighted one with a perfect amber Indian head. It lights up as it should. I do have paint matching fender skirts that come with the car. All new weather stripping. Wholeunderside of the car is painted.
Interior: All new very high grade leather like material. The color is kind of a off white which compliments the exterior color perfectly. I have since removed theconsole pictured. Ittook up too much room and had no real function.
Options: A/C and heat, ower, indows, teering, rakes, ruise control, very nicestereo system, ilt steering wheel, tc.
Mechanics: The frame is from a 1978 Pontiac Grand Prix that was professionallyfitted to the body and painted. The 326 cu inPontiac 2 barrel engine and 350 Turbo Transmission are from a 1970 Pontiac Catalina. I havereceipts where bothwere rebuilt. The rear end is thestock 10 bolt that came with the 1978 donor frame. All new exhaust. Brand new 225/75/15 Diamond Back Classic wide whitewall tires purchased in November 2014. All new spider caps and SS trim rings. I do have the original hub caps which are in great shape, f the stock look is more to your liking.
This car is not cheap, ut you could not build the car for what the reserve is either.
Bid to win this desirable vehicle but do not bid more than youcan afford to spend.
I will not give out my reserve price. Please do not ask.
NO TRADES, LEASE DO ASK ASK.
Now for the business end. I encourage you, r someone you trust or hire, o come by and check out the vehicle in person. I will refund your deposit if the vehicle does not match the abovedescription. The vehicle does not leave here until all funds clear my bank. Bank and cashiers checks can take up to 10 business days. My bank will give me a letter stating the date when the check will clear. I will forward a copy of the letter to you. Bank transfers can take up to 2 days depending on what time of the day it is initiated on your end. Again, y bank will let me know when it clears. Cash is great if picking it up in person.
