Description:

1968 Pontiac Firebird

You bidding on a Very Solid Southern 1968 Firebird Convertible. It has the 4.1L Over Head Cam 6 with 3spd Manual Transmission on the Column, Manual Convertible top, Manual Drum Brakes and Power Steering. The car was originally Verdoro Green (Code Q) with a Gold Top (Code 8) and Gold Interior (Code 251).The Car was built in Lorane Ohio the Second Week of April 1968.The car currently has a white top on it.The comes the Owners Manuals and Warenty books showing original owners name and Purchase date.It also some service records from 1970 and 1972.I have documentation on 3 previous owners. The car was sold new at Taber Pontiac in Atlanta Georgia on April 27 1968 to Dr. Donald Fellner of Atlanta Georgia.

The car has been sitting inside for at least 20-25 years. It has not been cleaned up or washed. This is how I found the car other than making it run. This is a very solid car that appears to have had 1 repaint several years ago.The frame rail and shock towers are rust free as are the rocker panels and Spring Perches. The car has had some Floor pan repair several years ago and a piece of the trunk pan has been cut out but not replaced. There is no gas tank, door panels or rear widow for the car.The car does come with the original Space Saver Spare Tire and Jack!

The car Does Start and Run Great!BUT... The engine does have a crack in the block and leaks water. The car will start and drive on a trailer or yard drive but I don't recommend driving very far.I have driven it around the yard but not long enough to get hot.The clutch and transmission seem to work great as does the brakes.

Please look at the pictures and watch the video.

The car is listed with No Reserve so don't miss your chance to own a great Firebird Convertible!
