i am selling for a friend 55 Pontiac Star Chief 2 dr hardtop.The car was lastLicensed in 1980 and was setting in a shed until a few years back.It has a 287 cu in motor that turns over with a Hydomatic trans.Car has power steering and leather seats.It is complete right down to the original hubcaps and fender skirts.The glass is all good with the exception of the windshield and left rear 1/4 glass, that is easily found as it is the same as the 55-57 Chevys use.It has some rust as shown in the pictures (bolt front floor boards,left rear floor board,rh rear corner of the trunk and inner rockers.There is some bubbling in the lowers 1/4 in front of rear tires and outside rockers.The car has brand new tires except they are 15yrs old,only put on to make it a roller.Body itself is very straight with no damage shown.All windows roll up and down with no problems.Also has the accessory front bumper guard.I remember this car running around town in the 70s as it had a 102 in CB whip antenna in front of the deck lid and the base is still there.This car needs a total restoration but could be a beautiful car again when finished.Everything is there.I have tried to disclose everything about the car,but always the chance I missed something.Look at the pictures closely and if you have any questions I can be reached at 308-631-2541.Car is located in western Nebraska and I can help with loading but picking up is solely responsible of the purchaser.I can store the car free for a reasonable amount of time.SOLD AS IS WHERE IS.
