1969 Pontiac Firebird 455

Selling my 69 firebird. over 35k invested Amazing muscle car ready to run and cruise. a Pontiac 400 bloc, professionally stroked to 468 CI, putting out right under 500 hp and 600 Ft/lb all coming thru a bullet - proof built and very smooth shifting TH400. Engine has been tuned and ran and has been taken care of very well.Stays coolat 180F all day long...All cast iron built with the best parts, has over 2000 miles on it and is very healthy on 93 Oct pump gas.. Build sheet available with the car. Once warmed up it settles into a nice rumble and is VERY responsive maxing out at 5.500 rpms with all that torque coming in early from 3000 to 5000 rpm, hang on...The suspension, steering, brakes, drive train have all been redone recently, also about 2000 miles put on since. Gears on there now are 3.73 inside a GM 12 bolt posi axle also very solid (previous 4.56 gears come with car if you just want to smoke tires). Sub-frame connectors have been added when going thru the chassis and new body bushings keep it all from twisting. Up front all new moving parts and viking adjustable shocks with lowered springs, and new elliptical race springs with on the fly adjustable traction bars by competition engineering in the back, to plant all that torque down to the pavement and minimize wheel spin and hop. Brakes are all new drums with new power booster and new quick ratio steering box. Car has race tires on now with plenty of thread wide in the back and skinny up front which makes it VERY responsive and light up front, great for racing, not the best for highway but easily fixed with wider tires up front. Interior is fairly new, shows just a little wear but still presents very well. There is no radio or A/C on this car, but could be added New paint job, has maybe 2 or 3 flaws but overall very nice. Always battling rust on all my cars since i live in Florida and it rains all the time but this one has very little. Some in the passenger rear fender (see pic almost unnoticeable) and driver rocker. Also the quarter window chrome trim has very little pitting) Front Chrome bumper is also not perfect and has some scuff marks and wear. Frame and everything else is solid or new. New optima battery is located to the trunk as well as fuel cell, there is a console mounted cut-off switch for refueling safely. As with any older car there are always things to tinker with and make better, or add chrome, or more power (aluminium heads would take it over 550hp easily) but i have to "thin the herd", my wife says, i have 4 pontiacs and cannot keep them all so i am selling my fastest one. Feel free to call or text me at 850 687 4838, Thomas, i will be happy to answer any questions and send more pics. If you are serious about buying this car i would come look at it in person or have someone you trust do it for you. This car is also not for everyone, it is over powered and will send you flying if you do not have the self control needed to drive it. However it is very easy to drive and needs nothing but a new driver. Will sell international as long as funds clear first.
