This is a very original car, the car was repainted due to the age of the original enamel finish. The quarters, floors, fenders, door bottoms, etc were all solid, this car was not mudded up. The enamel was completely stripped in order for the base/clear finish to properly adhere and lay flat. The paint job looks excellent, it is a shade brighter than the enamel was, basically the closest alternative to original we could find. Other than the paint all body panels, moldings, bumpers, emblems, vinyl roof, are all original factory equipment. The antenna on the car was added at the dealership when bought new to go with the CB radio. It would be simple enough to convert back to original if you so desired. The car really turns heads and receives a lot of compliments at shows and cruises, and I've had it at both.
Mechanically, the items that have been replaced in the last year are Water Pump, Complete rear brakes, and Brand New Cooper Cobra tires. The 8-track player has been acting up, currently there is a tape stuck in it, with enough finesse it comes out but last time I put it in I wasn't able to retrieve it, it is an Eagles 8 track though so it fits the car. The car drives down the road beautifully, does not pull, shake or shimmy, it really is enjoyable to cruise in this car. Although minor there is a small leak from the rear of engine. The oil level has never been down though, it is a very small seepage. The brakes work great, the rears being new and the fronts do not pulse or pull you around. The A/C is ice cold, all power options work as intended.
Deposit of $500 is required within 3 days of you clicking buy it now. Full payment either Cash, Money Order, or Bank Check is due within 10 days. I will allow the car to leave and send title out when funds clear, may take a few business days. I can help a transport company load your car, I do not have any transporters that I use, it is up to you to find one you like.
If you have any questions you can reach me at 715-323-1923, I don't want an endless barrage of text messages though, if you are interested give me a call.
