1969 Pontiac Firebird 400 Convertible with a clear title
PHS Documented Numbers Matching Car
Engine Code YT (400 4bbl 330HP)
I have owned this car for a little of 10 years & it was previously owned by a friend of mine for 20 years before that. Car drives straight, brakes straight with hands off the wheel, and makes no squeaks or other annoying noises when driving. All you hear is engine and exhaust. Car has only spent a few nights outside, as it is always stored in the garage usually with the car cover on. Rust is non existent. (Fresno, Ca is a great place to own an older car due to the dry climate).
Engine: Original 400 Pontiac V-8. It has been upgraded with the Edelbrock Performer RPM Power Package (Cam, Intake, Carb, Double Roller Timing Set, etc.) TRW Forged Aluminum Flat-top pistons .030" over. Has Hedman 4 tube headers with Flowmaster Super 44 Mufflers with 2 1/2" exhaust and chrome tips. Also has Accel HEI Ignition, internally regulated alternator, and after market gauges mounted under dash.
Transmission: Turbo Hydromatic 400 Automatic with B&M Transpak, & Quicksilver Shifter.
Interior/Top: Power convertible top (button on dash) has been newly replaced as has the carpet, seats have been redone in original black vinyl. Dash has no cracks. Convertible top motor, cylinders, and lines have also been replaced. Has front & rear floor mats along with headrests.
Suspension/Brakes: Has power front disc brakes (stock configuration), & Power Steering. All suspension wear parts front/rear have been replaced (except Center link) using poly urethane graphite components when possible. Has new rear leaf springs and front coil springs. All brake parts (Booster, M/C, brake lines, Rotors, Pads, Drums, Shoes, Hardware, have all been replaced.
Body: Car was painted blue in the 1980s and is beginning to show wear. With some minor body work and new paint this car would be in a show stopper. It is a classic '20 Footer'. Also has stock soft ray tinted windows
Wheels Tires: 14" Enkei rims with R235 60/14 BF Goodrich Radial T/A's.
Extras: PHS Documentation, Alpine Bluetooth/MP3/CD Player, Complete Assembly Manual, Complete Wiring Diagram, Chilton's Repair Manual, Car Cover (slight tear at rear bumper), an Edelbrock Carburetor Calibration Kit #1480 to change jets and metering rods (leaner/richer, etc.), extra set of keys, and a huge bag of receipts.
Electrical: No issues
The Bad: Oil pan gaskets leak so it will leave its calling card on the garage floor. Also noticed some coolant on the valley pan so there is a leak to be addressed there as well.
I require a $1000 PayPal deposit after purchasing and the buyer is responsible for any shipping charges. I will be happy to work with any shipping companies if sold out of the area. Car sold as is.
Please email me if you have any questions or if you would like me to send you 2 videos of the car running at idle. (Ebay won't let me embed them in listing at the moment)
Good Luck!
