Description:

1979 Pontiac Trans Am WS-6

1979 TA, Correct Rare 50L 50U Solar Gold paint code. WS-6 Package. Deluxe Hobnail Interior.

I have the original window sticker and build sheet along with purchase agreement from original owner (lived in AZ and CO-explain rust free).

All numbers matching engine, paint codes, interior. Re-spray in 2011 due to fading paint. Beautiful/stunning paint with no rust/dents/or scratches. Has some very small chips on the wheel spoilers in front of the rear tires (I put some mud flaps on to help eliminate this as the chipswere there when I purchased it). No rust concerns (not a single rust bubble anywhere), original body panels. High gloss show type paint job . The underside is painted satin black and has undercoating in spots. No rust or patch panels anywhere-awesome condition. Trunk is excellent.

Original 403 Olds (6.6 Litre) engine with 68K miles, has not been rebuilt (I just pulled off intake/valve covers and painted to clean it up). True dual exhaust with cherry bombs (no cats). Original Quadra-jet 4-barrel carb was sent to Mountain Man (Arkansas) and rebuilt/cleaned up nicely. Original Intake. Original heads and exhaust manifolds. Transmission (automatic) shifts nicely and I have never touched it. They are only original once.

8-Track Radio and Clock both work. New Tires (currently has mastercraft white letter tires on it,the primewells white letterskept turning brown on me and I could not handle that). Rims are perfect. Drives excellent (straight down the road, no pulls or shakes). New brake pads/rotors/and calipers. Fluid in the rear-end changed recently. It has posi rear-end with2.73 gears per build sheet.

The interior is like new. Seats are clean and untorn. The carpet was replaced along with the sound deadening insulation (aluminum foil looking product) placed underneath. The dash is not cracked. Nothing has been cut or modified. New weather-stripping all around.

Couple concerns: there is a small oil leak from lack of driving and being an original 37 year old engine (think it is the rear main or oil pan) I have never used the AC, think itneeds to be recharged? The window on the drivers side is also scratched by the weather-stripping, been like that since I got it (always have windows 1/2 to all the way down so never see it). Don't want you to have any surprises.

This TA is ALWAYS Garaged and under blankets every day. I have NEVER driven it in rain and have never had to wash it. I only mist/shine with a detail spray. I am a detail freak, numerous coats of polish/wax. I hate to part with it.

The 3 year trend for this car to be in the mid-30's for prices. If I had a 4th garage stall, I would not part with it.

I encourage inspection and am open to you looking at the car prior to sale end. Sold as is and may list locally. I will remove it if it sells locally. Clean North Dakota Title.

No test drives in wet or stormy weather! I can help to get the car to the shipper if need be. I am right off of Interstate 29 and Interstate 94. Car does not leave until I get the money in my hand.

PLEASE DONT BID IF YOU ARE UNSURE, AS IT WASTES YOUR TIME AND MINE. THE RESERVE IS LOW FOR THIS CAR AND PRICED TO SELL.

This is the nicest solar gold TA I have ever seen. This TA attracts attention wherever I go. If you want more/specific photos let me know and I can get them to you. This gold color gets more attention than the black ones do!
