1973 Pontiac Trans Am
1973 Pontiac Trans Am. This is an original, numbers matching, PHS documented 1973 Trans Am “YC” 455 coupe with 78,500 miles.
The interior has the very rare custom corduroy/cloth interior and the interior is in really good condition as shown in the pictures.
The original matching number 455 block has been recently rebuilt, aligned, bored and fitted with 4 bolt mains, The block was honed .030 during this process.
The turbomatic 400 transmission and 3.42 rear end are also original to the car. Recent services include a rebuilt carb, full tune-up, new brakes and master brake cylinder.
The car had one repaint in 1987.There are a few minor rust issues - one round hole in the rear and bubbling on the right front fender suggesting rust from inside are examples.
Overall, this is a driver condition car that runs and sounds great.You can tell from the mileage and description that the car has been taken care of.
The car comes with PHS (Pontiac Historical Society) documentation and the original build sheet and manuals.
