Up for sale is this 1977 Pontiac Trans am . It's a Survivor since new with only 8, 771 Original miles . It's been in Las Vegas it's entire life and was 100 % Rust Free Numbers Matching car engine,trans and rear end . The floors and frame are spotless and like new. The panels on the car are all original and very straight. Highly optioned 400 Ci 6.6 liter automatic with Posi. Non T Top car.
The Color is Golden rod yellow which is very Rare. Less then 1051 cars were made in Golden Rod yellow and the Paint is stunning. It had one repaint 7 years ago and it still looks amazing today. The paint was done right . All moldings, rubber and glass came out of the car. And it was replaced with all new rubber on glass and doors. New bird and decals were put on after paint . The paint is very glossy and shows very well. Only a few minor touch ups but nothing to mention. The decals are perfect and very clear.
The white interior is excellent and also a Rare color for this car. The seats are very clean as are the door panels. The headliner is new as are the visors. New carpet and the Dash is excellent as well. Inside you will find the car to have the Original am/fm radio with Original 8 track player. power window's and locks, Dual remote mirrors and lamp group / Factory A, High performance radiator 4 cor, tinted glass from factory as well as Cruise control.
Mechanically this car is amazing. The motor was rebuilt also 7 years ago and it was Bored 30 over.engine has less then 5000 miles on rebuild. Everything is new and has been gone through. It's a pontiac 400 motor. It's Numbers matching engin, transmission and rear end. The cooling system is all new. New 4 core radiator. new fan clutc, new Freeze plugs in block, New hose, new coolant . The car runs super cool. On a Hot Florida day it runs about 150 Degrees. The Ac works and is Ice cold. Also the heat works as well. The front brakes have been up graded to Discs and they are cross drilled and the car stops on a dime. The rear brakes are the original drum style and they are new. The wheels have been up graded to the factory replica and they are 17 " and they make a huge difference in the stance and handling. The tires are brand new Nitto's 235/50/17 all around. The Suspension has been completely gone through as well and is very tight. It has all new Polyurethane bushings and new shocks front and rear. Also the leaf springs are new . Again When you look at the undercarriage of this car it's spotless. Never any patches in floor or rust on frame. Very hard to find for a 70s Trans am. Driving the car is the best part. The dual exhaust with flow master mufflers gives is a nice growl and the car pulls very hard. It will light the tires up for a block if you step on it. The car does not rattle or make any noises when driving down the road. On the highway it's very smooth and just purrs. I would drive this car anywhere.
If your a collector and a trans Am enthusiast then this is the car to own. It's very Rare and highly documented . I have the Original window sticker, 2 build sheet, PHS documentation from pontiac . I have taken pictures of all the documentation I have a folder on this car and it's history. I am pricing it to sell.
