I am selling my 1986 Pontiac Fiero 2M4. I bought this last year for my friend to use with his body kit, then discovered that he had sold the kit...
This car starts without hesitation,doesn't overheat, and shifts properly. Even the A/C sort of works (cool, not cold). Brakes appear to be good, the battery is recent, and the tires are excellent. The driver's door needs hinge work (hangs/sags) and the paint on the hood, front bumper, and one front fender is cracked/crazed. One headlight raises and returns intermittently, makes me think there's a relay sticking.
Unfortunately, I found outthis car has a severe underbody rust problem and is not safe to drive. As you can see in the pictures, the DS rear drive wheel is barely connected to the car because the mounting points for the control arm are rotten.
Sold strictly as-is. This vehicle is not safe to drive in its current condition and will have to be trailered or towed. I'm listing it here since eBay let people fill the Salvage Parts Cars Category up with car parts so people can't browse anymore!
You could probably drive this if you replace the engine cradle/subframe, or use it for a world of parts for other Fieros. I have a clean Michigan title in my name for this vehicle.
