Here for sale in sunny dry El Paso,Texas is this very solid 1968 Pontiac Firebird. Let me start by saying how solid the body is. The floors are real nice,and the rear window area is very solid as well. This car is NO rust bucket. With that being said,let me tell you all that has been done to this muscle car. First of all, his car has a 350 Chevrolet 4 bolt main rebuilt engine with roller tip rockers,performance cam, luminum intake, delbrock 4 barrel carburetor, SD distributor, aylor spark plug wires,billit pulleys,Holley racing electric fuel pump,fuel pressure regulator,electric fan, edders with true dual exhaust all the way back with flowmaster mufflers that have a deep aggressive sound ! The cam has a choppy sound to it that truly sounds great. Next is an aluminum 4 speed muncie with a Hurst 4 speed shifter and a new clutch. This combo really gives you that Hot Rod feel when you drive down the street shifting into all four gears ! The drive train on this firebird is just awesome !! The ball joints,tie rod ends and both upper and lower A-arm bushings have been replaced. This car runs straight and true. Electrical is in good working order. wipers, urn signals, ead lights,brake lights, azzards, uel gauge, peedometer and high beams all work. It also has a new heater core that works! This may come to a surprise to you that alot of shiny classic cars on the road are mostly for show.That means most of the time,these cars look great,but do not run as good as they look. Most of the effort that was put in this Firebird was to get it to run great before paint,body and interior. With that being said, he fun part is painting this car the color YOU want and giving it the personality you want. I really do not think you can find a classic muscle car with all of the hard labor that has been done to this Firebird for such a low asking price like I have. I also have all of the weather stripping brand new for the doors,roof rails and trunk that go with the car.Along with new misc.parts and a power steering box and power steering pump. I alo have a new set of aftermarket gauges that go with it. All in all, his is a great car to drive around wile you finish building this car. This car is still a PROJECT.
