1949 Plymouth Special Deluxe. Clean and clear title. I do not think that you will find another in this condition that's original. Original miles = 39,462 MILES!!!
Car has been sitting in the barn for 20+ years. Grandpa had all the cars taken out 7-10 years ago and had them all gone through. At that time, they were all road worthy and being driven (running, driving, and stopping) and then they were put back in the barn and have not seen sunlight until now.
I had hopes that I would be able to enjoy having these back on the road, going to shows, and cruising around town with my wife and kids...but life has gotten in the way with working too much, having young kids, and having other unfortunate bills that must be addressed. As badly as I want to keep my cars, I don't see having the time to truly enjoy this car as much as it should be. I would rather see someone be able to enjoy this car and have it on the road then to go back into storage.
The car runs! I have a new fuel pump that will be included/installed too (along with whatever else I have for the vehicle or extra parts, tools, books, information, and fluids). Everything that is supposed to be part of the car is physically and mechanically where it belongs! I have not had time to go through the brakes to make sure that even though everything is there, that they are safely and properly working to be able to be driven. Full brakes are there but before I know that it can safely and reliably be on the road, I just want to make sure it is known that owner does a quick go through first. I have dropped the fuel tank, cleaned it entirely and blew out the fuel line, and remounted the fuel tank. I put a new battery in and put new plugs and couple other items in, got her running again. Everything is in working and amazing condition!!! No rust! Hasn't seen winter road or salt!
The car is in amazing condition for a 1949 vehicle! Can’t find anything in this condition! It was kept in the barn, so not exposed to the weather conditions. No rust!! Tires hold air. All glass is intact with NO cracks or breaks! Dash is in great condition. Seats are in good condition. Floors are all solid. Headliner is all intact and not drooping. Windows crank. Horn, lights, heat, fan, etc all work! Comes with Plymouth Paint Color and Upholstery booklet. All motor and vehicle parts that are known are accounted for, and in place (haven't touched). As you can see, maintenance/service sticker stopped at 39,xxx miles, never rolled over 100k!!
