Description:

1970 Plymouth Barracuda

We have a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda for sale. The car started life as a 318 3 speed manual, manual steering, manual brakes car. Rallye Red with a red interior, bucket seats without a console, a very cool and unique combo. The car is very complete. The transmission tunnel and manual pedals are intact, making the swap to 4 speed manual very simple. It has all of the trim, tail lights and markers are in the car, as is some other exterior trim. The interior is all there with both buckets and the rear seat intact. The dash, steering, suspension are all there. The car is missing the front of the engine, cooling system, transmission and driveshaft. The car was sold new in El Paso, and remained there until few months ago. We have the original title from 1970 as well as a clean, more current Texas title. The car is over all very clean and solid. As far as rust goes, the entire trunk floor needs replaced, there is about 6x6" area of rust in the front floor boards on either side of the trans tunnel, the lower quarters ( as expected), and the outer bottom lip of the rear window has some rust holes too. The rockers, fenders, inner fenders, frame rails, cowl, rear floors, etc are all very dry and rust free The car is very straight, the drivers quarter is dented, as is tail panel, front valance needs replaced. The grill is in great shape, it has one crack along the bottom but could be repaired easily.I bought the car as project but I am moving out of state and I cannot afford to fix it, these cars are so hard to come by in this original, unmolested shape and I really regret selling so my loss is your gain.
