Description:

1958 Plymouth 2 door Club Sedan Plaza

Parked in 1987 in a Chicken Coop Long barn after the original owner's daughter graduated from HS in Boulder, Colo. I found it about a year ago (November 2017) with it being stored inside for 30 years. It is a straight 6 cylinder, 3 speed on the tree manual transmission car. The only option I can find is a heater. It is a radio delete, backup deletes, no windshield spritzers, with factory rubber floors.
Main cabin floors rock solid as is the trunk floor. There is a little Rocker panel rust on both side but should not require a complete rocker repair but a patch fix. Damage on the car is a dented hood and dented Drivers fender and Drivers grill. See pictures. My Body man says the sheet metal dents can be repaired but he does not know about the grill parts, The grill parts are available thru others on eBay if you don't want to try a repair of the grill yourself. I have not tried to start the car at all but will try to see if it the 6 cylinder motor is free spinning or not. For now, consider it a non-running project. If anyone needs a better picture of the car I will gladly do so. Local inspection is welcome. Car shows on the odometer 52,562 which is the original mileage according to the daughter who drove the vehicle in HS. Other then the dings and dents that you would expect from an 60+ year old car you can believe it as it is in good shape for the miles shown.
I have about 5 projects ahead of this car and would like to find it a new home for someone to do their "Restoration or Retro-Mod magic" on this car. Note Dealer emblem tag on the trunk lid says it was from an El Paso, TX originally before heading up here to Colorado, the Previous owner was a Cattleman who often had buyingtrips down in West Texas. Dry climatesin both locations. Definitely a good blank piece of paper for an restoration or put a more modern Hemi in it and have a sleeper. The car is for sale locally but once I have the first bid on this car I will terminate my local attempts to sell it and go with eBay to the end.
This auction is at no-reserve. Pick up is the new owner's responsibility but will assist in loading. No trades. Good luck! Thanks!
