1970 Plymouth Road Runner project. VIN RM21V0G170793 (decoded below). Odometer reads 31,590 miles. A great opportunity to own a very rare Mopar muscle car. The fender tag is intact and I have decoded it as shown below. This is a true, original, V code 440 6 Pack Road Runner. The HP block, 440 6 Pack engine is not matching-numbers, but is date code correct (Aug 9, 1969). Equipped with 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission and Dana 60 rear differential. This is...a rare TX9 factory black car, wearing original paint and the original Air Grabber hood. The body is very straight and solid, a true survivor. All of the body numbers have been verified and all match correctly. The factory black bucket seat interior is complete and mostly original. This car is a project. It is very complete but does not run or drive. It has spent most of it`s life as a drag car - you can still faintly see the lettering on the rear quarter panels. A previous owner "mini-tubbed" the inner rear wheel housings for tire clearance and notched the floor for subframe connectors. The transmission tunnel has been cut for a 4 speed shifter. Can easily be returned to stock configuration if so desired. Overall - an excellent restoration candidate or get it running and driving as a survivor.
