Just Toys Classic Cars is very proud to present a very cool sleeper of a muscle car. Before you here is a 1966 Plymouth Barracuda. This car has very cool lines. Admittedly, his car was right before the major muscle car era of hemi cuda's and challengers and things like that, ut let me tell you something, his car has tons of style and when you open up the hood and see what is underneath, ou will see why we are calling this a sleeper. There has been one repaint within the last 5 years and it presents very well on this car. The panels are straight as an arrow, nd the fit and finish is right on the money. You know that there is something a little more than stock when you see the scoop on the hood with the custom air brushed Barracuda on it.
Now that you are getting over just how cool this car is open that driver door and slide yourself in to the very comfortable two tone gray and black leather seats. There is no way that the original seats were as comfortable, nd have as much bolstering as these do. The back seat is original and in great shape as are all of the components of the interior. Things like door panels, ash, nd head liner are all good to go. There is not much to the interiors of old Plymouth's, ut where there is, s very clean. So you know you have been waiting to do it, o give that gas pedal a couple of pumps and reach out and turn that key.
Under the hood is a very potent 360 that has been turned .030 over with new high swirl heads, urple cam, nd roller lifters. Doug's long tube headers are going to put that ear to ear grin on your face as they dump out through the great sound that flowmaster is known for in their mufflers. Now, ou are trying to find a great piece of open road so you can open this thing up and see what she can do. Just grab the T handle on that new Hurst shifter and put this bad boy in 1st and get ready to plant your butt firmly in the back of that comfortable seat. Now, ou better get ready to grab second quick because this sleeper has been equipped with a new clutch, lywheel, ressure plate, nd throw out bearing, nd all of the clutch linkage has been rebuilt. This car is going to grab some rubber and get.
All of this awesome power is going to exit out to a Mopar sure grip 8 3/4 rear end that is stuffed with 3.23 gears to give you some punch out of the whole but the ability to drive it on the highway some as well. All of this go is nothing without a lot of whoooooah. This car is equipped with new power disc brakes up front with a new master cylinder and drums in the rear.
There are soooooooo many other things that have been to this car that we could mention that we could make your eyes roll in the back of your head. If you h ave questions ask. We have the whole list. Bottom line is that this car looks like a sleeper, ut once you fire her up, eople are going to know that you have something to contend with. If they think you are all hat and no cattle as they say, hen they will surely be mistaken when you lay the smack down on them at a stop light or the drag strip.
