1971 Plymouth Valiant base

I have 1971 Plymouth Valiant slant 6, It was a very solid car when I bought it, it has been garaged most of it's life a 3 owner car w 104,000 on the original as known tough slant 6, 904 automatic trans and 7 1/4 rear. The paint and interior were shot when I got the car and it had very little rust. the rust that was found in the rear quarters was welded up and the car was painted a slick silver not perfect but looks pretty goo, the interior was all ripped and sun damaged so some cheap silver/grey tweed to match the paint was cut to fit and sewn on The front seat looks better then the rear have the material info if you like to redo the rear. The carpet was replaced with the cheap roll out stuff from autozone not fitted. Dash has a crack above the steering wheel and the car comes with an aftermarket installed air conditioning put in, in 1974 needs recharged. Car has many new parts as well; brakes, wheel bearings ect. The car is inspected and runs good. Overall it is no show car but, a nice good looking driver.
May be interested in trades for a good boat and trailer, Camper or modern automatic car or truck must be ready to go, let me know what you have and please send pics and info.
If you are interested in the car please ask questions and if you can come see the car. Please contact me if you are interested as the price is neg.Car can be seen inBLOOMSBURG PA ON HARRIET ST, at PARK PLACE
Car is currently as of today 10/11 in a very good local auto shop, for a new state inspection, oil change and rear gear oil change and overall inspection of condition. Results will be posted tomorrow.
Update:Just got the car back with a clean bill of health and it is now PA inspected until 10/17. The A/C does not get cold needs recharged, The shocks could be replaced they passed inspection but it would help the ride if it had a new better set. Also the tires look good and passed inspection but I would prob replace them as they have been on the car a long time now and I'm unsure of their exact age.
This would be a great car to fix up the way you want. Put a 340 small block in it or a 440 big block, the elephant 426ci Hemi or build the slant 6.I've seen built slant 6's on youtube out run 700hp Hellcats, very cool. I would keep the car and build it myself but due to health issues I'm unable to do so. Also I just bought a new house without a garage and don't have a place for the car, that is why i'm selling it and hope to find her a good home.
