Overview:

Here is an absolutely stunning 1952 Crosley Hot Shot, Super Sport roadster in excellent condition inside and out. This is truly a super rare and extremely unique piece of automotive history. It only has less then 20 miles on a complete every nut and bolt, rotisserie restoration completed by a Crosley expert. This is one of only 358 Super Sports ever produced in 1952. Which was also the last year of production for the Crosley, which only built 1522 cars total that year. The Crosley Hot Shot was known as Americas One Sports Car. Also 1951 to 1952 were the rarest and best years for the Hot Shot with the SS first being introduced, having doors, a top and a heater. It doesn't get any better then this. If you want the best, here it is!!

Industrialist Powel Crosley Jr introduced the first Crosley in 1939. He was also owner of Crosley Broadcasting Corporation, owner of the Cincinnati Reds and among other things. The Crosley Hot Shot was also remembered as a phenomenal sport car within its own class. The Hot Shot won at Sebring, Grand de la Suisse and SCCA. It weighs 1200 lbs and could be stripped down to 900lbs and reach speeds of up to 90 mph. The Crosley Hot Shot was also one of designer Frank Lloyd Wrights favorite cars as he owned a fleet of them, all painted in red. This is an amazing item for any car collector, museum or Crosley lover. To restore this car to this caliber would cost you more then double of what we are asking and you would have to find a nice car to start with. Don't miss out on this deal!

Exterior:

This Crosley looks absolutely stunning with a gorgeous red paint finish. They started with a nice solid car as you can tell, by how straight the body is and how amazing the fit and finish is. The body is solid as a rock with no rust issues. All the chrome and trim is in show condition. It has all new rubbers and glass. It is sitting on original wheels and hubcaps that have been all restored with like new tires. The soft is brand new, done in black Stayfast with red piping over a restored top frame. It also has matching side curtains that are mint. Even the steering wheel has been restored and has a very rare "Sterling" horn ring thermometer. This little car has looks that just don't quite.

Interior:

The stunning red interior looks better then new. The seats and trim are all new, done in the correct red material. The painted inner dash, tunnel and inside rear trunk are finished off just as nice as the exterior. It has all new rubber mats. The dash looks like a piece of jewelry with all redone chrome and restored gauges. Everything appears to be in great working order, which includes all the lights, gauges, wipers, directionals, etc. This little beauty to ready to show and go!

Mechanically:

The car runs and drives excellent. Everything on the car is new or rebuilt mechanically. Which includes the brakes, suspension, engine, transmission, cooling, wiring, exhaust, etc. It is a blast to drive and really runs and drives very well.

At Close of Auction

All Arizona Buyers must pay 7.9% sales tax!

All successful winning bidders will be responsible for a non-negotiable $299 Document Processing Fee in addition to the winning bid amount.

The successful "winning" bidder must telephone us within 24 hours after the auction has ended to verify purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction.

Full payment must be received within 7 business days of the end of auction. Payment must be either by cashiers-check, cash (In-Person) or certified funds. The parties agree that this contract shall be construed under the substantive laws of the state of Arizon, that the state courts of Arizona shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any action brought to enforce the terms of this contract or over any action arising out of the underlying transaction (s) with seller and venue may be had in the Maricopa County Superior Court of the state of Arizona.
