Here we have a 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass. This car has a stunning look that is coupled with some great driver options. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of this Oldsmobile, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. We will start off with the exterior of this Cutlass. When you walk around this car you can see that the body is rock solid with gorgeous body lines. Everything is covered in the Matador Red that's accented by the Black Stripes and the Black Vinyl Top. It features the W30 Hood along with the rear spoiler. The paint is done in base coat clear coat and has been buffed and polished to a deep rich shine that's slick as a ribbon. All the glass in this car is in excellent condition along with the seals and weather stripping. Looking at the chrome and stainless you'll notice that it all has a brilliant finish. To finish off the exterior it's sitting on a set of 15" Olds SS1 Wheels with Firestone White Letter Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '71. On the inside it's done in black which flows perfectly with the two tone exterior color combo. It features bucket seats and console that houses the Automatic shifter and has the wood grain accent that ties in perfectly with the door panels and dash. Looking at the dash it has the factory gauges that are working as they should. It also is a factory Air Condition car that is working as well. You'll notice the factory radio to keep the dash clean but it has been upgraded with a JVC CD player that's hid in the glove box. This Cutlass also comes with Power Door Locks and Power Windows that are all working as they should. All the seat covers are in excellent condition along with the carpet, headliner, and seal plates. In the trunk it has gorgeous detail and comes with the spare and jack.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Olds. Under the hood everything has been cleaned and detailed. It has looks like it would have when new and features the Matching Numbers 350 Rocket engine. The 350 engine is mated to the Matching numbers 350 Turbo Trans that goes out back to the 10 Bolt Rear end with around a 2.56 gear. For exhaust it has manifolds with dual pipes and turbo style mufflers. To go along with having factory A/C it also has Power Steering and Power Brakes. When you look under it you will notice all the ball joints and bushings are in great condition and that it has both front and rear sway bars. All of the floors in this '72 look to be original, rock solid, and covered in the factory under coating. The frame is also in excellent condition and this car hits the road better than you can imagine.
