Description:

1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass

Its getting harder and harder to come across original survivor type cars like this. By that I mean unmolested never raced or cut up through its 54 year lifespan. Then take into the fact this is a super RARE 4-Speed Cutlass convertible and both those details make it quite a unique car. This car was factory ordered by my neighbors dad, I purchased it from my neighbor who gave me the history of the car. He specifically wanted a 4-Speed car and not a 442. When you ordered the 4-speed you got the 442 console with the Tachometer that still works! If you are an Oldsmobile Fan think about all the car shows you have been to in your life and from the 1964 thru 1972 Convertible Cutlass models how many 4-speeds have you seen??? exactly. This car is powered by the 330 4bbl engine similar to the 442 with a muncie 4 speed behind it. It has power top, power brakes and power steering. When I purchased it, it had been sitting in a garage for years. I went through it changing out everything it needed to get running again. It has a new NOS fuel pump, new plugs, new wires, new distributor, new battery and more. I also swapped out the master cylinder and brake booster the original was in operable. I have the facrtory WCFB 4 bbl carb which comes with it, I installed a brand new modern Edelbrock eclecticchoke carb. It now runs excellent, the motor does not smoke and is quiet at idle. This car drives excellent the clutch grabs like it is new and it goes down the road very tight. I have driven it locally no long trips, please dont ask me if it will make it here or make it there, it is a 54 year old car. The doors close like they should it is a very solid car. The floors are rock solid, the frame is rock solid as well. The car had some paint work done in the late 1980's it looks to me like it was freshened up in some areas but some of the paint appears to be the original lacquer. This is not a show car it is a survivor type car. It does have some chips dings and scratches, the upper quarters and trunk lid have lacquerpaint cracking from age. It has a soft dent above the drivers side wheel which looks like you can pop it right out. The car still presents itself well. the chrome looks excellent. It has the original wire hubcaps, and comes with an extra one. I also have the original blue boot that matches the interior. The interior is in excellent condition. I have all the manuals for it even the original GM Protect-o-plate is still attached! If you understand what a Survivor car is you will really appreciate this one. I feel this car is priced to sell quick especially considering how rare the 4-speed is. So no stupid low ball offers, I am selling it because I need the space not the money. If it does not sell I will find a storage spot for it and just keep it till Barret Jackson and sell it there. No trades. Please ask all questions before bidding I have a clear NC title for the car in my name. This is my own personal car I am not a dealer.Be sure to read and agree to my auction terms and conditions below.INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS WELCOMEAuction terms and conditions1.CAR IS SOLD AS IS, NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER, NO REFUNDS2.$500 DEPOSIT DUE WITHIN 24 HOURS BY PAY PAL3.BALANCE DUE BY CASH IN PERSON OR BANK TRANSFER ONLY WITHIN 72 HOURS OF AUCTIONS END4.NO CHECKS OF ANY KIND WILL BE ACCEPTED, OR HELD TILL CLEAR!Thanks for looking and God BlessBe sure to check out my other items in my Ebay store
