1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX
I'm offering up for sale this 1990 GSX Eclipse rolling chassis as a racecar/street project start. It has excellent re-paint done 2004, which still shines and looks excellent only a few minor scratches and I haven't found any dings. There is no rust/rot on the car at all, it's honestly one of the nicest condition 1G DSM's left that is worthy starting point for a race build. I bought it with a non-running engine, with the car being in garagedstorage with the damaged engine since late 2006. After taking the engine andearly 2000'sera modification out and selling separate, Iv decided to see about selling the shell in this state of assembly rather than tear it down any further.
I have listed the mileage as 170400 in the auction details, but the vehicle had an aftermarket odometer installed that rear 1704.0and the original gauge cluster missing (racecar after-all). The last owner likely tried to put the 1704mi on the title from the aftermarket odometer, which the NJMVC then assumed was 170k ...but is pretty much irrelevant, as this is a shell intended for racing use or building a highly modded street/strip car. If you look at the vehicle history from the VIN check, the last title transfer was in 2006 at 134k which is likely the actual mileage on the body. Again, pretty much irrelevant.

Fuel fill door was filled in when the car was painted, so you cannot easily go back to stock fuel tank unfortunately.
This is a rolling shell/chassis as a clean starting point to building your own racecar without having to do body work, paint, or build a rollbar for 11.5 to 10.0.
Spotless rust free AWD DSM's are getting hard to find, keep that in mind when bidding.
Shell is located in Blairstown, NJ 07825. Buyer can pick it up with a trailer at my place, or we can negotiate a price for me to deliver it by trailer prior to auction end.
