We are pleased to offer this all-original 1990 Mitsubishi Delica 4WD Star Wagon for sale, in mint condition. It has very low mileage at 52,941km (32,896 miles), it's exceptionally clean throughout, and is a very unique import from Japan brought over under 25 year federal exemption. This small displacement recreational Turbo Diesel 4WD Van was never offered for sale in the US, and is a real attention grabber. It features; power locks, power windows, power sunroof, power locking rear gate, radio cassette player, altimeter gauge, tilt gauge, rear a/c and climate control, rear cigarette lighter 12v outlet, rear swivel captains chairs that fold down with the rear seats to combine into a two person bed, full wrap around privacy curtains, front and rear parking mirrors, front bush-bar, off-road yellow fog-lights, side-steps, and front window rain visors. Everything works perfectly, even the original stereo, and the A/C. It runs great with no mechanical or drivetrain issues. The body is straight and smooth to the touch, with hardly any scratches and ZERO rust damage. The 4D56turbocharged dieselengine provides plenty of power to get up to freeway speeds, and has great low-end torque.
Nearly perfect condition aside from minor paint blemishes that have since been touched up around the rear of the white portion of the van. The off-road gauge cluster forward tabs are broken, but the unit remains in place. With the cover attached you don't notice the broken tabs. The front brake rotors are slightly warped to the point that you feel some subtle feedback through the brake pedal while braking. Front tires are nearing the end of their life and should be replaced soon, a full matching set is recommended.

Factory manuals are included, as well as the original auction sheet from Japan highlighting that this gem was garage kept!

Recent maintenance includes; a 4-wheel alignment and a brand new muffler on 3/25/16. It's also worth mentioning that the timing belt was changed in Japan at 35,087 KM on 8/28/2005.

We have submitted an application for title for this vehicle, which we expect to receive in 2-3 weeks. In the mean time we will issue a temporary 90-day registration for the buyer. In addition to a clean and clear title, the buyer will receive copies of the following; US customs forms authorizing the vehicle for entry into the USA, EPA compliance forms, NHTSA compliance forms, Export Certificate with translation, and the bill of sale from Japan.

It should be noted that it is the buyers responsibility to do their due diligence in respect to registering and operating this vehicle in their home state. States like California require an additional emissions compliance certification in order for imported vehicles to become legally registered in the state.
