1966 MG MGB convertible

Selling my 1966 Mg MGB Convertible Roadster 84000 original miles. car has been exclusively garaged since 1982 when previous owner acquired her.

.- more powerful 1800 engine. car has some pep unlike the 1600's

- rebuilt dual SU Carbs

-New Starter

-Newfront discbrakes, slotted rotors,new hoses, pads and calipers

-Painted wire wheels with new tires

-4 sp transmission- does not have electric overdrive.but can easily keep up with highway speeds

-top is in good condition and fits well. if you want pictures ill put it up and send em over

- Newer Leather seats ($1400), not cheap vinyl that you stick to after a half hour on the road

-Recently painted British Racing Green. paint is mint minus a chip on back trunk frame.previous owner said the paint alonecost him $7400 including engine bay and trunkI have a half gallon of the paint for touchups.

Engine and tranny were taken out during paint and rebuilt. car runs mint, does not overheat or burn oil

this morning I took the car on a 3 hour joy ride, oil pressure was good, car does not overheat or burn oil.

car has a transferrable registration in my name. cars from 1966 are not issued titled in NY State

some known issues-

-tach wiring is loose and turns on and off

- car has a steel dash that was covered in burlwood vinyl which has cracked. I am including a brand new burlwood vinyl dash. don't have the time to get it installed

car does not have a windshield washer pump and most likely hasn't since the 70's.

thereis one chip on the trunk frame like I stated before. easy touchup- extra paint included

do not have the spare tire to the car. not sure where it went

Car does not have any rust or rot and there is signs of floor panel restoration.

this car can easily be brought to the next level but is a great driver and shows very well.
