1953 MG TD Replicar

1953 MG Other

This car has a clear 1980 MG Louisiana title. It was built on a VW chassis and has a 1500 cc bug motor. I did not build the car so details are limited. My guess is the build was 10+ yrs ago. I have owned it for 3 yrs and have done some minor upgrades. It starts and runs good. You can see from the pictures it looks pretty good too. No illusions though, it is not a "show car". It has some minor paint issues but as you can see from the pics, still looks good. Lights, blinkers, fog lights, horn and backup light all work properly. Tires are good and though old, have most of their life still in them (the car has been garaged all its life.). Battery is a year old. Upolstry is new and carpet is in really good shape. It has a top and side curtains. Odometer was broken when I got it, so I have no idea of mileage. Chrome is nice and door, hood and trunk latches work properly. I'm selling it to make room for another project. I have had fun dinking around with it. It gets a lot of looks and is neat to run around in. This is a cool little car for someone who likes to drive something unique. I have enjoyed tinkering with it. They (VWs) are easy to work on and most parts are readily available and inexpensive.
