1976 MGB in British Racing Green Nice Sporty Car!

Price: US $5,000.00 Item location: Oswego, Illinois, United States
Description:

1976 MG MGB

Up for auction is a really sharp 1976 MGB in classic British Racing Green. The car was blue but was restored to green. The car starts, runs and shifts perfectly. The gears are all good and the brakes stop the car well. Good solid running motor that has been well-maintained with regular oil changes. The car doesn’t smoke, drip nor make any odd noises- good runner.

-New tires with chrome trim rings (has all four hubcaps)

-Nice bodyline chrome molding and rear British luggage rack.

-No rust on the body anywhere and solid pans all around, even good jacking points!

- Perfect newer roof with all snaps, custom boot cover when roof is down.

- Has the sporty racer’s half-tonneau to cover the passenger compartment when roof is down.

- Rebuilt suspension: kingpins, shocks, controller arm bushings, etc

- Comes with new alternator still in box for spare.

- All lights work and function.

- Original British Smith dash gauges.

- Emergency brake and cable have been recently tightened and hold the car well.

- More desirable beige carpeting and seats (driver’s side has tears) but car will come with

new black seat covers for replacement.

- Engine bay and trunk are clean and rust free.

- Has good newer spare tire, jack and irons.

- Newer battery.

- Updated radio with CD player.

- Newer exhaust system.

Overall a nice solid reliable British classic. Get in and go without worry- the hood support is gone so I’ll include a homemade one. The gas gauge is a little off but still registers. I have a clear and open title ready for a new owner, I found a new interest and want to move on. Odometer shows just over 54K miles. Was originally owner by a college professor who drove it back and forth to school keeping the mileage low.

Please ask any questions and I can help load car if needed. Cash is king but will accept personal check and bank wire, with clearance, for payment. I try to be as thorough as possible but opinions on condition can vary, so please ask. $500 deposit due within 24 hours and balance due before pick-up. Thanks!
